A Lichen- Peltigera sp.

While hiking I noticed this beautiful lichen.  I photographed it with my iPod.

This is where the old hospital used to be, it was boarded up and disintegrating so the city finally razed it.  Now there is the mountain side exposed, it looks strange after all these years.
