  1. This is so pretty, Charlotte. Though I haven't been to Alaska, this just seems to fit some of the ideas I have in my head of the beauty of this wilderness state.

    I find it really helpful to view stuff on the internet, it looks so different than IRL. I can see this thing is not cropped as well as it could be....

  3. I always think of Alaska as snowy and icy. (What do I know?) This shows a very different and evocative landscape. Like it!

  4. Anne - I know, Igloos are always foremost in people's minds, LOL. Nope! Alaska is so big that it has many many different ecological areas. I live in the South East on an island surrounded by the Pacific Ocean. It rains a lot and does snow some in the winter, but is usually mostly just a damp place. Actually I live in the Tongass National RAIN Forest.
