Musings, meanderings, and art.
This is so pretty, Charlotte. Though I haven't been to Alaska, this just seems to fit some of the ideas I have in my head of the beauty of this wilderness state.
Thank you again Sherry. Your Red Pear, Blue Pear is running thru my head, I expect I'll have to paint a red pear and blue pear, haha. I find it really helpful to view stuff on the internet, it looks so different than IRL. I can see this thing is not cropped as well as it could be....
I always think of Alaska as snowy and icy. (What do I know?) This shows a very different and evocative landscape. Like it!
Anne - I know, Igloos are always foremost in people's minds, LOL. Nope! Alaska is so big that it has many many different ecological areas. I live in the South East on an island surrounded by the Pacific Ocean. It rains a lot and does snow some in the winter, but is usually mostly just a damp place. Actually I live in the Tongass National RAIN Forest.
