It was such a beautiful day yesterday, I took my bicycle on the ferry to the island our airport is on (Gravina Island) and went for a bike ride down the highway "to nowhere" that was built down the middle of it, at taxpayer's expense, for no reason that an average citizen can see. Anyway it is a great bicycle ride and nice to see Ketchikan from a different perspective.
This woman lives in London, I believe. She does amazing watercolors. I tried to "copy" one of her watercolor portraits of a fellow flickr artist, LOL, and made him end up looking like a bear. Thankfully he was quite happy with the results.
I was a Vista Volunteer for a year in Louisville, Kentucky. The house I stayed in had a detached garage and a barbeque thing in the backyard. Most of the houses in Louisville had the same thing. They were used often during the hot summer evenings.
