Lots of Landscapes

Acrylic on construction paper.  I'm using such cheap paper because I'm throwing these away.  I'm going to learn how to paint landscapes, I've set that goal for myself.  Being in this group is going to help, as it forces me to paint them, as much as I dread doing it.  From a photograph by flickr member  Rodneyvdb.

  1. This reminds me of the beautiful forest in the Wizard of Oz...the one with the talking apple trees. Nice work, Charlotte!

  2. To these male eyes, that front tree looks like a woman...

  3. Charlotte - inspired by your determination, but please don't throw away your work. Wait for a year or two so you can compare and see how you have progressed.

  4. i agree with anne. i love the freedom that comes with non-attachment but hold on to them for a while. If nothing else, you might like to use bits of them for collage or other projects. The freedom of them is inspiring.
