Diptera on Aster

This fly was so very lethargic, I guess because it was fairly cold.  Anyway I had a fun time photographing it.  Tweaked in photoshop.

For Tapestry of Time Blog

For Portrait Party

Annalucinka, a flickr artist.  Done with iPod applications.  I volunteered to keep our Mainstay Gallery open on Saturday, so I had a lot of time to explore apps I had never really looked at, this was the result.

For Portrait Party

I'm taking a break from painting bears and Ketchikan things, my default "break" stuff is Julia Kay's portrait party artists.  This is Manfred Schloesser.  Done on construction paper with poster paint, markers, and pastels.  It is so relaxing to just kind of fool around with the paint :D.

For Portrait Party

A fellow flickr artist, Elizabeta, done with Photoshop.

Paddled around Pennock Island yesterday

One of the friends with me, crossing the channel
Took a picture of my knees on the backside of the Island just for fun.  They got soaking wet from paddling, as it was a borrowed kayak and had no spray skirt.  But it was a gorgeous day.

for Portrait Party

A digital portrait of flickr artist, Marion Loken, done on my iPod with various applications.

My sunflower at the show

It was displayed with a basket made from bullkelp and shells.  They went well together.  It sold also which was nice :D
