For Studio Atelier

An abstract of the photograph of the Rocky Mountains posted by Barb Benick.  It's done in acrylic on drawing paper so the paper is all wrinkled. I'm still traveling and too cheap to buy really good paper.

Burro's Nose

I went to this sad little Prairie Dog Town.  There were a lot of animals in cages that shouldn't be in cages.  I'll never do that again.  The only thing I could photograph that I didn't think would make me cry later was this donkey, he looked happy enough.  Here's his nose.  I scratched him between the eyes.

Zen Brush and Henpitsu painting

on my iPad in North Carolina.  I'm "on the road again".  So posting will be sporadic at best.  This was done with Zen Brush in situ, then I just downloaded the app Henpitsu which adds the lovely color.

Self Portrait - digital iPad

Done for fun, and lack of internet.  On my iPad with various apps.

Lots of Landscapes

I've been to a writing workshop at the Florence School of Art, located in Glendale Springs, North Carolina.  There was no internet access and no cell phone signal.  I had some sort of withdrawal, it wasn't technology withdrawal as I did a lot of "painting" on my iPad and computer with Photoshop.  So I'm not sure what to call the withdrawal LOL.  I also did a lot of writing with a pen and paper, I just can't "write" with a computer, haha.  Anyway the above is a digital painting done in Photoshop of a photograph taken by Murilo, a Brazilian man, of a scene in Brazil, naturally.

For Tapestry of Time Blog

I did this on my new iPad with the application Zen Brush.  Charlegemane riding his war horse.

A Native Cone Flower

Taken with my camera by Palisade Falls which are by Bozeman, Montana, then digitally altered with my iPod.  I had never seen Native Cone Flowers, I think they are beautiful and definitely illustrate one of the patterns found on our Mother Earth.

Saw these atThe Timber Exhibit, behind Fort Missoula, Montana

It was a bronze sculpture that children are encouraged to play on, in, and around.  It had nothing to do with Timber.  It was very beautiful imo.

Taken at Wall Drug in South Dakota

This thing comes alive and roars, while fog and thunder and lightening flash, every 12 minutes.  It is hilarious.
