An abstract of the photograph of the Rocky Mountains posted by Barb Benick. It's done in acrylic on drawing paper so the paper is all wrinkled. I'm still traveling and too cheap to buy really good paper.
Done for Julia Kay's Portrait Party on Flickr. Done first with water soluble crayons on construction paper, then photographed and put into my computer and tweaked with photoshop. Of a flickr artist who calls herself Artsy_Lady990/Jackie.
I went to this sad little Prairie Dog Town. There were a lot of animals in cages that shouldn't be in cages. I'll never do that again. The only thing I could photograph that I didn't think would make me cry later was this donkey, he looked happy enough. Here's his nose. I scratched him between the eyes.
I've been to a writing workshop at the Florence School of Art, located in Glendale Springs, North Carolina. There was no internet access and no cell phone signal. I had some sort of withdrawal, it wasn't technology withdrawal as I did a lot of "painting" on my iPad and computer with Photoshop. So I'm not sure what to call the withdrawal LOL. I also did a lot of writing with a pen and paper, I just can't "write" with a computer, haha. Anyway the above is a digital painting done in Photoshop of a photograph taken by Murilo, a Brazilian man, of a scene in Brazil, naturally.
Taken with my camera by Palisade Falls which are by Bozeman, Montana, then digitally altered with my iPod. I had never seen Native Cone Flowers, I think they are beautiful and definitely illustrate one of the patterns found on our Mother Earth.
