Scavenger Hunters in Seattle

These young girls were on a community Scavenger Hunt in Seattle, Washington when I was there.  It was very amusing to see people all dressed up in costumes running around the streets. :D

Two Pears

Done on construction paper, which got all wrinkled, with acrylics.  Then the bottom one was "antiqued" in the program Preview which comes on Mac computers.

Happy Thanksgiving to everybody.

The view from the Juneau, AK airport

The plane that was taking me back to Ketchikan had to overhead and land in Juneau because of a sudden blizzard that obscured the Ketchikan runway.  In the morning we were able to take off, and the view was brilliant.  Juneau is surrounded by mountain peaks.  I was able to capture some of their beauty as we flew away....

Sailboat

This little sailboat was just heading into harbor when I went to Golden Gardens in Seattle last evening.  Taken with my iPod and run through the Instagram application.

For The Virtual Paintout

3 Avenue Jean Monnet, Arles, France
Done with crayola crayons which are very difficult to work with.  Millions of children are probably discouraged from becoming artists by using these crayons.  This is a warped rendition of the place in the google map:  http://g.co/maps/5znkv

For Lots of Landscapes

Painted in Photoshop with layers and the photoshop brushes, using my touchpad and finger.  I find this extremely difficult.
