Lots of Landscapes

Done from a photograph by Mariah O'Neill, a truly great artist on Flickr. This was done on my iPod Touch, with the apps Artist Studio, and Brushes.

I'm going away for a week, going to paddle with the Manatees in Florida, if my plane can land and take off in the lousy weather we've been having.

Calibrating Your Monitor

I am reading a lot of books on photography, one of them said one of the most essential tools for digital photography was calibrating your monitor. I had never done this, I did so immediately.

WOW. What a difference it has made in the colors that I view on my screen. So I am suggesting that anybody that reads my blog do this right now to their own monitor, it only takes about a minute, and makes a huge difference.

That's my advice for today. Have a happy Monday.
